When you come across an unknown English word, check the dictionary and write it down along with the Japanese meaning and the sentence where you found it. Preferably, use a notebook for all these words and keep it with you at all times so you can study them again when you have a minute.

Thanks for visiting my site.

I was born in Norway to a British father and Norwegian mother, but having lived in many places, I am familiar with the English used in everyday life and business in various cities and communities. In this day and age, I don't think it is important to focus too much on either British or American English, but rather to study and use the English used by the International community.

My work experience is mostly in the IP telephony and editorial fields, but recently I have also been involved in business consulting, real estate and of course, English education. I have recently returned to the UK after having spent more than 3 years in Tokyo and hope to continue teaching English to Japanese living in London.

I have lived and worked in Norway, Los Angeles, New York, London and Tokyo. Furthermore, I have done extensive travelling (some for business, but always for pleasure), including: Scandinavia, Germany, Holland, Italy, France, Spain, Bulgaria, Egypt, India, mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, French Polynesia, the Easter Islands and Australia.

This site has been created with the purpose of providing you with information on the lessons and services I offer, including writing, proofreading and business consulting.
